I am calling it. We beat OSU.

Everyone everyone thinks we are getting smoked. They are ranked for the first time in five years. The four-letter network picked it 45-20 bad guys; that is professional analysis ladies and gentlemen. Jackie Sherrill knows that line smells, "Since when has A&M been a 25-point underdog to Oklahoma State or a 25-point underdog to anybody?" Exactly Jackie (in the interest of full disclosure, Jackie was talking about our "tremendous step back,” and not the inability of Vegas to pick a good line for our games, but whatever).

OSU may have the both of the top two Big 12 rushers and may sport the top rushing offense in the country and we may sport the 5th-worst rush defense in the country, but everyone know those kind of comparisons are crap when they don't work in your favor. I mean please, who has OSU played? Probably not Army.

UPDATE: K-State will not be on TV.

FACT: Our defense as a whole is eerily similar to the 2003 team. Yes, the 2003 team that limped to a 4-8 record.

FACT: Our offense is exponentially worse than it was in 2003. OSU may not have a stellar defense, but they won't need one against us.

FACT: OSU will run all over us. Even if you take out the Army game, our rush defense is still atrocious.

If things go our way, we MIGHT cover the spread. I appreciate the optimism in calling your shot for the Ags, but it's just not realistic.

I don't concert myself with "facts." The "facts": amount of $$ we spend on (recruiting) players and coaches; facilities; fans, would indicate that we should NEVER loose a home game to Arkansas State.

My belief is that we have been under-performing for a decade. The "facts" are on our side, but the wins aren't.
