Ashlee Pistorius was named a Preseason All-American by Soccer Buzz magazine. This must be the like the AP All-American, but since the AP does not pay attention to women's collegiate soccer, they do not produce their own list. Last year Pistorius also received honors from NSCAA/adidas (All-America, All-Central Region) and the Big 12 (All-Conference, All-Tournament), but those were handed out at the end of the season so Soccer Buzz must be the only preseason honor.
