With the QB situation working itself out, Shermi has spent his time in the trenches with the O-line. To those forgotten big guys, having "the head man work like that with offensive linemen, who never get any credit for anything, that [means] a lot." While they are enjoying the attention, I am worried. With only few returning guys from a nothing-special line, the new pro offense may never get a chance to get off the ground, literally.

"7-10 days" into training camp; that is how much longer we are going to have to hear about the QB controversy competition between Stephen McGee and Jerrod Johnson. Shermi isn't giving us any clues, and neither guy is being made available to the media, so we wait. Because of the competition, and the quality of players, the big man thinks "we’re going to have a very good quarterback when we start the season". Neither guy made best in conference/country list (some how Colt McCoy and his 18 INTs did? I smell a bias news outlet).
