The Oklahoman (a newspaper) has tracked down the Nebraska fan who faked the newsok.com (The Oklahoman's web site) article claiming OU QBs Sam Bradford and Landry Jones were arrested on cocaine distribution. By using their "technology", the Internet security guru's at The Oklahoman found the expert hacker who:
1) lifted a template off The Oklahoman's Web site,
2) wrote and pasted a bogus story about the arrest, and
3) posted it on a message board.
Now the paper is going to "consider legal action" against the hoaxster. Instead of legal action, the Oklahoman should consider not making so freaking easy to post fake stories on your website, and the readers of the Oklahoman should WATCH OUT FOR BAT BOY!
